Baby Jax Sports Sweet Shoes

Former "The Biggest Loser" contestants Matt and Suzy Hoover went on to get married and have two darling little boys. The couple, who met on set for the show, were spotted in this weeks edition of In Touch Weekly. Their youngest son, Jax, was sporting Sweet Shoes Skates in black and white waves, which they received in a gift bag from Jewels & Pinstripes in winter 2008. It appears the couple has been keeping up with the values they learned on the show. The whole family looks fantastic!

Save the Children Celebrates The Day of the African Child

Save the Children is at it again, doing what they do best, saving the world one child at a time. In recognition of The Day of The African Child, several leaders and health advocates met today to discuss their support for increased resources to decrease the infant and child mortality rate in African nations. In Africa, more than 4 million children die each year, almost one quarter in the first 28 days of life, most due to preventable diseases. It is through the support and work of these impressive charitable organizations, health advocates, and national leaders that saves lives and creates change. Without the support of generous citizens and business organizations, these charities would not survive. Little "Ladybug" wears Sweet Shoes

Anyone who watches Tori & Dean's Home Sweet Hollywood knows that their daughter Stella is doned with the nickname "Ladybug." And they also know that Tori like to give her babies parties based on their nicknames. Hence the ladybug-themed party this past weekend to celebrate Stella's first birthday. The lavish party was summarized on both people.com and their subsidiary site Celebrity Baby Blog. Our favorite part, Stella is wearing Sweet Shoes red metallic Sweet Janes to match her beautiful ladybug dress, which she later rolled around the cake in. (Thank goodness for dry cleaning!)

"The Hangover" released this weekend

So the day finally came for Sweet Shoes big screen debut. "The Hangover" was released Friday June 5th and is already a hit! Sweet Shoes received all of about 3-4 seconds on camera, and an excited 3-4 seconds it was! The hilarious, Vegas-based film was chock full of wildly inappropriate moments. The packed theater was laughing from start to finish. And judging by the #1 spot in the box office, that was true nationwide! We are so excited to have been a part of this successful and much needed laugh of a film!

Sweet Shoes in The Hangover

The much anticipated time has almost come! The Hangover's release is just three weeks away and we are thrilled to have been part of it, even if it was just a tiny part.

The Warner Brothers Film, staring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifinakis is opening June 5th. It is sure to be hilarious and definitely not for kids.

Winter 2009 Collection continued

Winter 2009 Boots

Sweet Shoes Fall 2009 boot collection consists of 3 new colors of the fun mid boot style in black, red and tan with hip side fringe. Boots are faux-fur lined, have non-skid bottom grip and velcro to the bottom for easy on and off. Boots will be available for shipping in late July.

Winter 2009 Loafers

Sweet Shoes is introducing a new loafer style for boys in the fall/winter collection. Two color combinations will be available, a brown with orange plaid and a black with blue/gray plaid.
The loafers uppers and soles are made of a leather/suede combination. Strap and lining are plaid cotton/wool combo. Sweet Loafers soles also have the non-skid grip. Loafers will ship late July.

Sweet Janes Fall 2009 Collection

Sweet Shoes is introducing Sweet Janes Fall 2009 collection. The collection consists of five great colors in a two-tone pantent and metallic leather combination. Straps are made larger and more adjustable to accommodate different width feet. Like metallic Sweet Janes, they have non-skid rubber grips on the soles. The collection will retail at $32+ a pair. Prices will vary depending on retailer.

Sweet Shoes had the unbelievable opportunity to participate in the upcoming Warner Brother's film, "The Hangover" due to release June 5, 2009.


Although Sweet Shoes were not chosen by the costume department, they did get a small role in an apartment scene as "baby's unworn shoes."
